In this Coffee Talk I was allowed to interview the founder of Beautifulscents. I discovered Beautifulscents by chance on Instagram and when I read up what exactly Beautifulscents is, I wanted to find out more. Having a spray as your loyal companion, support for all situations in life, I think this idea is more than just great.

DW: Dear Stefanie, thank you very much for taking the time to answer a few questions. Would you like to introduce yourself to the readers and tell more about yourself?

Stefanie: With pleasure. My name is Stefanie Wirnshofer, I am the mother of a wonderful daughter and a wonderful son. I had a PR agency for fashion, luxury and lifestyle brands for over 15 years, which I sold at the end of 2018 in order to develop projects that were close to my heart.

DW: Your heart project sounds so wonderful and inspiring, when I discovered Beautifulscents on Instagram, my interest was aroused and I really wanted to know more. I am very grateful that I can learn more today and share this with my readers. Tell me , how did Beautifulscents come about?

I heard for the first time in 2013 about fragrances made from essential oils and precious stones, which can have a positive effect on moods, from a naturopath who had developed such fragrances. She told me about the fantastic results she had achieved with it in her practice. I bought them all with a mixture of enthusiasm and skepticism, because 2013 was a year in which somehow nothing was progressing in my life and for this reason I was certainly much more open to anything that would get my life going again. What I didn't suspect at that moment: that the scents would be my constant companions. No meeting, no customer appointment, no press conference took place without the right elixir. Moods decide about success or failure, about harmony or conflict. The scents had such a positive effect on me and my plans that it almost seemed like a miracle to me. So I gave them away to my friends. Some had the same experiences as I did, but some made the first worsening worse. That slowed me down a bit in my enthusiasm at first.
But the subject never let go of me. No matter how much other professional projects occupied me, the desire was always in the back of my mind to one day create my own fragrances that, with one spray, help to create only positive moods without any initial aggravation. However, I had no idea how that was supposed to work. Desires that don't let you go never come out of nowhere. They go their own way towards fulfillment, unimpressed. So one day I met the king of essential oils. He is a German professor, 82 years old and has unlimited knowledge. For example, about this: If too many oils are mixed, it can trigger negative feelings in some people at the beginning - which only turn into positive feelings after a while. However, the effect can be avoided if a maximum of three different scent notes come together. As I said, wishes cannot be deterred. At the same time, a friend told me that she had met an old woman by chance in Denmark. Her son was injured, an elderly lady heard the screams, came to help immediately and treated him with tinctures and herbs. The healing was phenomenal.
The friend told me that this healer with the radiant positive charisma worked with essential oils and precious stones. So I flew to Denmark. The herbalist was a citizen of the world who was much older than she looked. And had acquired her knowledge on every continent on the planet. She spontaneously agreed to work with me to create mood-enhancing fragrances. For a week we tirelessly mixed and tested a wide variety of compositions. Until I knew it: the wish was now a reality. The king of essential oils was also enthusiastic about our unprecedented creations. And of their effect. And then I met chemists. Energetic. Neuropsychologists. I started looking for the best natural oils and for healing and precious stones from Fairtrade mines whose production conditions are transparent. I had samples made, which I gave generously to friends and acquaintances in order to test the effect. Testers became customers. I realized that we had really managed to set the mood. For a positive mood. Time to stop giving this effect to my friends. Time for a lot more positive mood for a lot more people. Time to bring beautifulscents to market!

DW: If anyone has never heard of Beautiful Scents, what is Beautiful Scents? If you had to answer it in a few sentences what would your answer be?

Stefanie: Beautifulscents are mood sprays (can be used as aura or room sprays) that have a positive effect on the mood and can even change it positively with one spray.

DW: Are the fragrances suitable for everyone? What about children or pregnant women, for example?

DW: Which of the fragrances would you recommend if someone is unsure which one to buy?

Stefanie: That is very difficult because everyone has a different need to improve with the spray. I take self-love in the morning because it always makes me feel a little better - Good Luck and Success throughout the day, because I notice that I am really more fortunate and successful. When I have large projects and need more drive or lack a little enthusiasm, I spray Joy. When I'm nervous Ease, because it just makes me easier again. When I'm angry or mentally tired, I spray New Start and when I meet people who are difficult I spray the room with Harmony in advance, it works wonders. Personally, I don't take Relax because I love the scent but yawn when I just hold it in my hand, but it is an excellent pillow spray for everyone who has problems sleeping or falling asleep - whether big or small.

DW: when and how do you recommend using the fragrances? Perhaps you have a few tips here on how to incorporate the fragrances into your wellness or self-care routine?

Stefanie: Shake well before use. 2 to 3 pumps of one of the highly concentrated uplifting mood sprays are enough to charge the room or the air that surrounds you with the mood you want, anytime and anywhere. Think. What are your emotional needs? Rely on your instinct. You will almost certainly choose the right mood spray for you. Repeatable as often as you like. Close the bottle with the lid after use. My TIP: In the morning in the bathroom, spray one or two fragrances with the desired mood over your head. A little ritual that is positive and lets the day start joyfully, energetically and productively.
